The highlight of Deep Sea World is the large aquarium with a perspex walkway that allows visitors to view the fish above and to the sides. Visitors may view a variety of sharks which are fed so regularly that they don't attack the other fish swimming around them.

At feeding times, you can watch as members of staff swim through the aquarium handing tit-bits to passing fish.  A presenter gives a running commentary and answers your questions.

Deep Sea World is one of Scotland's most popular attractions with thousands of visitors a year.

It is situated in North Queensferry in Fife.  The underground aquarium is supplied with fresh seawater from the tidal estuary of the river Forth.

There are a series of rock pools with staff on hand to provide information and answer your questions. The presenters encourage visitors to touch some of the creatures.  You may touch starfish and crabs under their expert guidance.

Visit the Frog Room where you can learn about the life cycle of the frog - from spawning to tadpoles to adults.  Visit the piranha tank - these fish are kept in their own tank in case they feel peckish between feeds.  They are fed only once a week.

There is a cafeteria and a souvenir shop.  Free on site parking is available.
