The Glasgow Science Centre is a major science and technology museum located in Glasgow. The science mall building contains a climate change theatre, a planetarium, alongside three floors of interactive exhibits.
Visitors can participate in interactive workshops, live science shows and watch live shows. The science hall has numerous theatres.
The Life, Earth & the Environment show has A Load of Rubbish, Build a Bug, Cockroach Corner, Flower Power and Wiggly Worms to enjoy. Great fun for children.
The Astronomy & Space show has Destination Space, Junior Sky Tonight, Space Robots, Our Place In Space, Star Hunters and Sunspotter. A learning experience for adults and children alike.
The Glasgow Tower
You may take the 2 1/2 minute ride in the Glasgow Tower. You will travel over three hundred feet skyward to the Glasgow Tower cabin to enjoy unrivalled views over the city and surrounding countryside. Please note that the Glasgow Tower will close in adverse weather conditions such as winds over 40mph. Wheelchair dependant visitors cannot use the Glasgow Tower lifts for health and safety reasons.
IMAX Cinema
The IMAX cinema shows 2D and 3D films on a screen bigger than a 5-a-side football pitch. The sound is provided by a digital 12,000 watt sound system. An experience that will amaze and astound you.
