Highland Adventure Safaris is based at Aberfeldy, and offers the opportunity to board a Land Rover with a kilted guide and head high into the magnificent Scottish hills.
You can pan for real gold and stunning gemstone in the 40 feet flume on your return. The Deer Park allows you the chance to meet the red deer, Britain’s largest land mammal.

Family Special Mini Safari
A short safari of 1 1/2 hours and an opportunity to introduce children to the wonders of the natural environment. You are accompanied by a friendly ranger with whom you will get up close and discover tracks, trails and views. A great family adventure.
The Safari Hike
A 4 hour trip that starts in the valley and heads to the high ridges by safari land rover. You have time to enjoy a relaxed walk to explore this beautiful scenery. You will enjoy refreshments and a picnic in a cosy bothy at 2,500 feet.

Opening Times
Open all year for safaris, except for 25th & 26th December, and 1st & 2nd January.
Highland Safari Lodge is open from 9am to 5pm from April to October. Closed on Sunday during November, December, February & March. Closed in January.

The Wildlife Discovery garden provides a variety of exciting activities including mini beast hunts, pond dipping, and searching for your favourite bird from the viewing hide. There is a gift shop, children’s play area, and Christies Tea Room.
Binoculars, telescope, wildlife identification sheets, fact files are available in every Land Rover. Please remember to take along suitable outdoor clothing.
