The rugged terrain of Scotland is ideally suited for mountain Biking. The terrain covers impressive mountain passes to ancient forest single tracks.
The 7stanes are seven mountain biking centres that are managed by the Forestry Commission Scotland in partnership with other organisations. They are known as the 7stanes because each venue will feature a stane
at a point along the forest trails. Stane is the Scottish word for stone.
