The Hairth
Dates & Location; 19th - 21st September 2008 in Knockengorroch, Galloway
The Hairth is a four-day musical gathering.  It showcases top world and traditional music at a camping event.  It features fire shows, sessions, open mic, cabaret, ceilidh, a children's marquee, workshops, puppets, storytelling, a Celtic longhouse, and real ales.

Dundee Flower & Food Festival
Dates & Location; 5th - 7th September 2008 in Dundee
The Dundee Flower and Food Festival is a three-day feast of exciting entertainment for all the family. It takes place in marquees in the stunning Camperdown Country Park.  The festival showcases beautiful floral and garden displays.  There are competitions, cookery demonstrations by famous chefs, fashion shows, craft stalls, and children's activities.


The Braemar Gathering

The Braemar Gathering is one of the most popular and celebrated of all the Highland Games in the world.  The Gathering prides itself on its reputation for providing a warm, and friendly atmosphere.
