The Edinburgh Butterfly & Insect World is situated in Dobbies Garden World and offers a great day out for children and adults alike.  The Bugs and Beasties exhibition allows you the chance to see jumping stick insects, poisonous arrow frogs, tarantulas and amazing leaf-cutter ants. 

You can enjoy Meet the Beasties handling sessions twice a day and see a unique Scottish honey bee display.The Reptile Room houses giant pythons, large lizards, and chameleons.  In the Nocturnal Zone, there are bugs and
beasties going about their nighttime activities. You'll see the fascinating glow-in-the-dark scorpions in here.  You can watch free-flying butterflies in the large indoor rainforest.
